We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their respiratory health goals.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for administering breathing treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Treatment Administration: Administer inhalants, operate mechanical ventilators, and perform other respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Certification and Qualifications: Current certification or registration by the state of Texas (CRT or RRT) and active CPR certification.
- Experience: Six years of hospital experience required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plan.
