Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Bhate Environmental Associates is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Construction group, you will play a vital role in supporting our project management team in delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project management team in collecting and analyzing data to manage project budgets, schedules, and other critical aspects.
  • Prepare project-specific plans and pre-construction deliverables to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Engage and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with field personnel and technical support to assess conformance to contract documents.
  • Assist with DoD and base-specific access requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and discuss project budgets and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Able to research, analyze, interpret, and present data to support project decisions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills with clients, colleagues, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, Adobe Pro, and P6, with proficiency in Teams.
  • Proven skills in organization, time management, and proactive decision-making.
  • Familiarity with EM-385 and OSHA compliant programs, as well as United Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) and DoD Standards.
Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of combined experience in project management support, preferably with AFCEC, NAVFAC, or USACE.
  • Degree in Construction Management is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with construction procedures and practices, including the construction RFI and material submittal process.
