About the Role

Marcus Evans, a global business intelligence and event marketing company, is seeking a skilled Account Executive to develop new accounts and manage client relationships. This is an in-person role located in our Greenwich office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new leads and create a book of business through prospecting and outreach.
  • Target General Partners and C-suite decision-makers of alternative investments firms, including private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Engage with prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling, while maintaining an organized record of sales activity and pipeline.
  • Nurture new and existing client relationships through travel to destination cities nationwide.
  • Act as a representative of the company and clients in delivering exceptional products and services.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of proven B2B or B2C sales experience, preferably with a high-priced product.
  • Prospecting and outreach experience, including cold calling C-level executives and creating strategic marketing email campaigns.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills, with a strong understanding of emotional intelligence and tactical empathy.
  • A hunter mentality with disciplined KPIs, combined with the ability to nurture and develop relationships.
  • Pipeline management ability, including research and organizational skills.
  • Leadership potential, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Account Executives earn 10% commission on sales, with average deals starting from $110k for entry relationships and $175k-$250k on repeat relationships.
