Financial Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join their growing finance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis, while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Oversee account reconciliations, accruals, and reserves in accordance with GAAP.
- Monitor intercompany transactions, including payables and receivables, ensuring proper reconciliation and elimination.
- Provide support for daily treasury operations such as processing wires, checks, and cash reporting.
- Partner with the finance team to improve and standardize the closing process, account reconciliations, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide analysis to support the year-end audit process.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members by setting expectations and identifying growth opportunities.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience.
