About Our Client:

Our esteemed client, a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World, is a 5-Star Luxury Brand Hotel seeking a seasoned Sales and Reservation Manager to join their team. This role would be based at their high-end boutique property near the beautiful beaches of Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Sales Department, Reservations department, and ensure all LQA service standards are met with friendly and engaging service.
  • Oversee a reservations manager and/or agent, and assist in leading marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media programming.
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying the proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests.
  • Maximize rooms revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing supporting agreed-upon Revenue Management strategies and practices.
  • Train and coach colleagues to the desired level.
  • Solicit transient and/or group and corporate business, and reach established goals.
  • Establish parameters, quotes, and negotiate prices and seal contracts.
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events as required.
  • This role requires travel both domestic and international. Maintain accounts, contact, activity, and business details.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager. Produce weekly and monthly reporting (Agency 360, Geo-targeting social media campaigns, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years in a sales and reservation management position in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Relevant sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably boutique luxury hotels.
  • Experience in leading Marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media programming for a luxury hotel.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have Opera experience.
