Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Craftsman to join our team in precision tool and die production. This role requires expertise in building, maintaining, and repairing complex tools and dies used in metal fabrication environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Measurement: Ensure that every part meets exacting standards of quality and accuracy through meticulous measurement and inspection.
  • Technical Expertise: Interpret blueprints, plan sequences of operations, and fabricate tools, dies, and assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
  • Machine Operation: Command a range of manual and CNC machine tools, leveraging their power to craft precision components.
  • Assembly and Tuning: Assemble, fit, and fine-tune parts to perfection, ensuring that every tool, die, jig, and fixture meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Innovative Solutions: Design innovative work aids and fixtures to streamline production processes and drive efficiency to new heights.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Tool & Die Maker, with Journeyman licensing preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for perfection, with the ability to read, interpret, and execute complex blueprints and specifications.
  • Educational Background: Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, complemented by additional schooling in Die Building/Maintenance, Tool & Die Maker/machinist, or a state indentured journeyman's card.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $24-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience and expertise, with an estimated average salary of $27.50 per hour.
