Job Description

Bengal Transportation Services LLC is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality drawings in AutoCAD or Inventor, working under the direction of our lead or Engineering Manager to ensure accuracy and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed drawings and documentation for various projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and consistency
  • Organize and maintain a well-structured file system for efficient access to project files
  • Utilize AutoCAD or Inventor to create 2D and 3D drawings, models, and simulations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including lift data and other relevant information
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor, with a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills, including algebra and trigonometry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python or C++
  • Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
