Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UCHealth. As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide top-notch patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will model proficiency through precepting new healthcare professionals and contribute to a safe and quality environment at the point of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment, including ICU or PCU level of care.
• Utilize AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in evidence-based care models for each ICU and PCU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
