Job Title: Storage Engineer - Risk and Operations

Location: Plano/Houston/Columbus - Onsite from Day 1

Job Description:

We are seeking a Storage Engineer to join our team in Plano/Houston/Columbus. The ideal candidate will have experience in storage skills, including file storage, block storage, and object storage. They will also have knowledge of network skills and good to have skills in Python.

Brief Summary and Problem Statement:
  • The Storage Engineer will be responsible for facilitating operations related to production support, customer migrations, risk, and instrumentation.
  • The role will involve storage engagement to support operations in the NA and India time zone, including weekends.
  • The Storage Engineer will also be responsible for monitoring and performing BAU TLM upgrades for select products and monitoring performance against key metrics.
  • They will support BAU Operations, including system versions, existing integrations, and new integrations or upgrades.
Objectives:

Maintain compliance with assigned risk metrics and reporting.

Enhance existing account management tooling

Facilitate customer data migration related to data center exits. Completion of customer migrations within SLA.

Monitor and perform BAU TLM upgrades for select products. Monitor performance against key metrics.

Support BAU Operations
  • Include system versions, existing integrations or if new integrations or upgrades are needed.
  • The above projects are sourced through FTE labor today. While the above programs are being progressed, the programs are not meeting assigned objectives due to available staffing.
Responsibilities Requirements:
