We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and be able to communicate effectively with our teams and clients.

About the Role

The Senior Construction Safety Manager will be responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety across our operations. This includes planning, coordinating, and communicating safety regulations, as well as serving as our company's point of contact for all safety-related matters. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day safety field operations and be able to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards
  • Provide training and guidance to our teams on safety protocols and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our work
Requirements
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Minimum 2-3 years of construction experience or at least 1 year of construction safety experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Bilingual an asset
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 5 and OSHA 10 certifications
  • Equipment trainer certifications
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
