Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Engineer/Scientist or Manager to join our team at the Naval Sea Systems Command. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex engineering and scientific challenges.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the execution of engineering and scientific projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality results.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop project plans, and allocate resources.
* Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and scientists, promoting professional development and growth.
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and academia, to advance the organization's mission and goals.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field, such as mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electronics engineering, mathematics, or computer science.
* At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully managing engineering and scientific projects.
* Strong technical expertise in one or more areas, including systems engineering, software engineering, and data analysis.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
