Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captive Insurance Operations Manager to join our team at Holman Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and administrative support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical accounting and regulatory guidance to staff
  • Responsible for quality control, whether through direct review of staff work, or implementation of peer-review processes
  • Responsible for assigning workload and clients to staff
  • Responsible for Client Financial Statement production and review and ensuring timely delivery
  • Responsible for Compliance filings and ensuring client and regulatory deadlines met

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus (Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or MBA)
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • 3-5+ years' experience, including 2+ at a leadership level
  • 2+ years of captive industry experience
