Pediatric ICU Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric ICU Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. This role offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a dedicated nurse leader.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the pediatric intensive care unit during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
- Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Sets priorities and delegates tasks effectively to ensure seamless operations.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse Texas State or Compact State License required.
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- 2 years Pedi Cardiac ICU/CVICU or ICU acute care hospital nursing experiences or Critical Care(ICU) experience.

Estimated Salary Range$93,000 - $114,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
