Salary Range: $25-30/hour

About the Job
The Intern - Construction Project Engineer will have the opportunity to learn and assist with performing a number of supporting roles under the supervision of experienced MCRT personnel. Supporting roles may include working with Field Supervisors in charge of day-to-day site activities and subcontractors performing the work, as well as Project Management and Estimators responsible for project budgets and cost forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become familiar with Mill Creek's culture and philosophy by completing required online training programs.
  • Work with designated supervisors to understand Mill Creek's business model and how the Construction function contributes.
  • Gain an understanding of project drawings, shop drawings, and manufacturer material sheets.
  • Assist with execution of site Staging & Logistic plans.
  • Learn and assist with project scheduling creation and implementation.
  • Learn and assist with Daily manpower reporting, Safety inspections, and Design Team field reports.
  • Assist with scheduling required jurisdictional inspections and testing.
  • Learn to identify, analyze, and make mitigation recommendations of potential project risks.
  • Learn Mill Creek quality standards.
