Strategic Technology and Transformation Leader

As a key member of our Strategic Technology and Transformation Office, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and optimizing processes within the Information Services department.
About the RoleThe Principal Operational Strategy Advisor will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in healthcare operations or IT operating models, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct studies using advanced empirical methods or mixed quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT strategy, translating findings into actionable recommendations for the organization.
- Leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future trends, anticipate challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within Information Services.
- Design and implement performance measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of Information Services' initiatives, projects, and processes.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business (economics or finance preferred), or related field.
- Master's degree (such as MBA) preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in a client-facing environment interacting with senior and executive leadership at the department and organization level.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $104,000 - $186,160 per year for the role of Principal Operational Strategy Advisor.
