About the Opportunity

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include comprehensive medical coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Our 895+ bed tertiary care center provides a dynamic and supportive work environment, with access to state-of-the-art technology and a multidisciplinary team of over 1,500 physicians.

Job Summary

As a Critical Care Oncology Nurse at Medical City Dallas, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. You will use therapeutic communication skills to interact with patients and families, maintain a safe and therapeutic intensive care environment, and implement and direct care using the nursing process. Your expertise will also involve promoting a supportive environment that treats patients and families with dignity, respect, and appreciation of their lifestyle, religion, and culture.

Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within 60 days of employment start date
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
  • Minimum 1 year experience required; experience with high acuity ICU medical/surgical patients preferred
