Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nurse Specialist to join our team at Summit Medical Staffing Allied. This is a 13-week travel nursing job opportunity in Northampton, Massachusetts.

About the Role

This position involves working as a First Assist RN in a fast-paced perioperative setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing, with experience in both scrubbing and circulating. A minimum of five years of diversified perioperative nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or concerns
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
  • ACLS and CNOR certifications required
  • Completion of an RN First Assisting course that conforms to the Core Curriculum set forth by AORN required
