Food Scientist

Folia Materials is seeking a highly skilled food scientist, culinary researcher, or research chef to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying frozen foods that benefit from our innovative paper microwave packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapidly screen frozen foods to determine their suitability for our packaging
• Develop product demos for sales, including packaging form factor, cook instructions, and sensory descriptions
• Collaborate with our team to create sales materials and technical sales calls with culinary professionals
• Travel to client sites to meet with food and culinary science professionals

Requirements:

• Background in food science, research chef, culinary science, or culinology
• Experience in processed or frozen food, formulation, or product development
• Descriptive sensory analysis skills
• Ability to work dynamically and methodically
