**Job Overview**

At American Leak Detection, we are the world leader in the accurate, non-destructive detection of hidden water, sewer, gas and swimming pool leaks.

We are looking for a highly motivated, independent worker to join our team as a Field Technician. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable with learning and using new technology, and ready to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions.

The position requires intermittent, often heavy, physical labor, including moving and lifting up to 100 pounds. We provide paid training, all the tools needed to perform job duties, and a company vehicle for business use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leak detection: underground piping systems, sewers, gas systems, swimming pools and spas, line location, plumbing related repair work
  • Advanced training includes scuba certification and mastering underground line tracking, video, ultrasonic, infrared and video technologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Mechanical experience and ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently
  • Neat, professional appearance
  • Familiarity with leak detection, plumbing, irrigation and/or experience in plumbing slab/sewer work

Salary: Competitive salary ( estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per year)
