Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Job Summary
Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Engineer to join our Dedicated Transportation Solutions division in the Northwest/Southwest region. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading logistics company and contribute to the design and implementation of efficient supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply company methodologies and tools to design distribution and transportation operations, including staffing, equipment, sizing, and layout.
- Collect data and perform statistical analysis to determine efficient resource utilization.
- Map and document processes, identify process gaps, and implement process improvements.
- Support business development and create efficient designs and solutions processes.
- Participate in customer-facing meetings for proposal discussions and business development.
- Establish and implement performance measures, KPI targets, and optimization tools.
- Develop transportation network design and routing design using appropriate software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain required; Master's degree preferred.
- Five years or more of relevant work experience required, with a focus on data profiling, data mining, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with Paragon software or other transportation optimization tools required.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience.
- Exempt/salary paid twice per month.
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Up to 40-60% weekly travel requirements.
- Remote work opportunities available in WA, CA, OR, CO, AZ, and MI.
