Senior Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team at Aarons.
Job SummaryThe Senior Customer Service Representative will serve as a key member of our customer service team, responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via phone and in-person. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate information and timely updates in our store computer system.
- Conduct direct contact with customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both in-home visits and over the phone.
- Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments.
- Collaborate with the Customer Account Manager to set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
- Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
- Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned.
- Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets daily.
- Load, secure, and protect product in company vehicles.
- Safely operate company vehicles.
- Support the Sales Team as needed.
- United States: At least 21 years old with a valid state Driver's License and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR (driving record). Canada: At least 18 years old.
- Meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
- Ability to work a schedule of hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly.
- Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitask effectively.
- Proper telephone etiquette.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Proficient computer skills.
The estimated salary for this role is between $13.25 and $14.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location. In addition to hourly pay, this position may be eligible for incentive pay based on performance.
