Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Group Clinician to join our team at Mountainside Treatment Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class group facilitation and creating a supportive environment for individuals in recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Facilitation: Facilitate IOP and OP groups with a focus on integrated care, promoting a holistic approach to recovery.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate and consult with the outpatient interdisciplinary team members regarding group member clinical processes and needs, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Crisis Management: Provide crisis management as needed, utilizing your expertise to support individuals in crisis.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical charts via electronic medical records, adhering to agency and accreditation standards.
  • Professional Development: Complete all required and assigned trainings in a timely manner, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Licensure: Holds and maintains independent licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
  • Experience: Previous experience facilitating group therapy and working in an outpatient setting.
