Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nursing Manager to join our long-term care team at Alto Health Care Staffing. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead our nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Leadership
    • Provide leadership to the nursing staff, overseeing the delivery of care to residents and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update resident care plans, prioritizing individualized care and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Medication Management
    • Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring residents for any adverse reactions and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assessment and Documentation
    • Perform thorough assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), providing guidance and support to ensure proper care is delivered.
  • Emergency Response
    • Respond promptly to emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action to ensure resident safety and well-being.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, helping to identify best practices and implement changes that promote excellence in care.
    • Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently, prioritizing resident safety and health.
  • Qualifications
    • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • CPR certification.
    • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 5 years in long-term care preferred.
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Benefits
