About the Role:

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to join our team at Cruise. As an AV Test Operator, you will play a critical role in testing and improving the performance of our driverless cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to new locations around the US to support Engineering and New Market Expansion priorities
  • Work in teams, alternating between driving and software monitoring and logging responsibilities
  • Complete timely and detailed ride reports for operations and engineering teams
  • Test other aspects of our autonomous vehicles
  • Participate in the ongoing training of new AV Test Operators
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 80%+ of the time, potentially on short notice
  • Prioritize safety and maintain a safety-first mindset
  • Satisfy the requirements to operate an AV in California, including a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and DMV Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Ability to give and receive clear, prompt, and understandable verbal and written communications
  • Safely operate the AV in accordance with Cruise safety protocols and applicable law

Work Schedule:

40 working hours/week, 8.5 hour shifts (including one 30 min unpaid lunch). Multiple shift times/off days are available (subject to operational needs).

Pay Details:

$25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
