Data Scientist and AI Developer

About the Role:
A Data Scientist and AI Developer is needed to work with Southwire's connected factory systems, robotic process automation systems, and other computer system integrations.
This individual will analyze connected factory data for trends and reporting, working with a variety of software tools and interacting with IT and business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop generative AI applications
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate AI solutions
- Collect and analyze business and factory data
- Transfer data into new formats to make data more appropriate for analysis
- Generate reports on business and factory data
- Search through large data sets for usable information
- Build automation to automate data collection and reporting
- Support and maintain scripts in VB Script, Java, Python, PowerShell, or any other up-and-coming scripting languages
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Master's degree preferred
Preferred Skills:
- VB Script, Java, PowerShell, SQL, Proficient with Microsoft tools, ABBYY, C#, Python, .Net, SOAP & REST API, R
Work Environment:
This role is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days a week on-site at Southwire's headquarters in Carrollton, GA or The Battery in Atlanta, GA.
