The Role
We are seeking a talented Assistant Professor of Business with a focus on Entrepreneurship and experience in Finance to join our faculty team. This tenure-track position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing institution and make a lasting impact on our students' lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and other areas of expertise, including a sequence of Entrepreneurship courses for the Business Capstone required for all Business Major and Social Entrepreneurship Minor seniors.
- Engage in a 21 load-hour teaching schedule and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop experiential learning opportunities for students in the recently-created social entrepreneurship minor.
- Contribute to our robust academic culture by engaging in scholarly activity, mentoring students, and participating in curricular development and assessment efforts.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business, Finance, or Economics is preferred; an MBA or Master's degree in related fields combined with relevant professional experience will also be considered.
- Undergraduate teaching experience is highly valued.
- A demonstrated commitment to liberal arts education is essential.
What We Offer
As a member of our faculty team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $55,000-$70,000, depending on your experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a close-knit academic community.
