Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Cath Lab. Your expertise will be essential in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other cardiovascular procedures
- Interpret ECG patterns and identify cardiac needs of patients
- Collaborate with the interventional cardiologist, vascular surgeon, and registered nurse to deliver patient care
- Maintain radiation safety and protection devices as required
- Demonstrate proper sterile technique and assist with cardiac cath and electrophysiological procedures

Requirements

- Graduate of a certificate or degree-granting program in a health science field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting
- Eligible for certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or registry-eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
