$45,000 - $55,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Youth Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide supervision, guidance, and support to male youth ages 12 to 18 through daily program engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain appropriate supervision levels at all times
  • Facilitate daily living skill development groups, interpersonal skill development, personal care needs such as health and hygiene, meal preparation, and chore completion
  • Provide positive intervention treatment while ensuring the health and safety of all residents and staff
  • Accurately monitor, prepare, and provide medications for residents to self-administer at scheduled dosage times
  • Observe resident youth behavior and discuss concerns with the youth in an effort to achieve improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field experience preferred but not mandatory)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass all background checks including an FBI & BCII fingerprint background and Sacwis sex registry check
