Job Title: Assembly Technician

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Assembly Technician responsibilities include:

  • Fabrication, Welding, and Repair of Metal Structures
  • Interpreting Drawings and Specifications
  • Diagnosing Issues and Performing Maintenance and Repairs
  • Ensuring Work is Conducted According to Quality System Process and Inspection Test Plans
  • Maintaining a Clean, Tidy, and Productive Work Environment
  • Active Participation in Daily Toolbox Meetings
  • Working Harmoniously with Team and Other Birdon Employees and Contractors
  • Current Driver's License
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Assembly Technician Levels

The levels of this position are differentiated by increasing degrees of responsibilities, years of experience, professional skills, and quality of work. The level in which you qualify will be determined upon interview evaluation.

Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment where exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp cutting tools, dust, fumes, and airborne particles, temperature extremes, and elevated noise levels.

Physical Demands

Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
