Purpose: As a Clinical Admissions Specialist at Acadia Healthcare, you will play a critical role in facilitating the admissions process for patients, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing patient needs, verifying insurance benefits, and collaborating with medical and psychiatric personnel to provide optimal care.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate intake, admission, and utilization review processes for incoming patients
Perform insurance benefit verifications and disseminate information to patients, families, and internal staff
Provide accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status in the admission and utilization process
Respond to inquiries about the facility within facility policy timeframes
Collaborate with medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations and admissions

Requirements:
Experience in managed care pre-certification processes, level of care assessments, and utilization
Registered or Certified AOD Counselor
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required
