Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Trauma Therapist to join our team at CommQuest Services Inc.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will provide specialized therapeutic services to individuals, empowering them to integrate, function, and succeed in their natural environments.

You will work collaboratively with diverse individuals, establishing strong relationships and providing expert guidance to help them overcome trauma-related challenges.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trauma-focused interventions to reduce psychological symptoms and promote recovery and resilience principles.
  • Maintain effective crisis management strategies, considering trauma triggers and responses.
  • Provide symptom monitoring and advocacy to support clients' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive care and referrals as needed.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Service field is highly preferred, with additional training or certification in trauma therapy.
  • Previous experience working with adults with severe mental illness and trauma is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • A valid Ohio Driver's License and proof of auto insurance are required, with regular use of a personal vehicle for transportation purposes.
