Job Title: Anesthesiology Specialist

Job Summary:

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
- Administer and monitor anesthesia medications
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements:

- Active PA License
- BC (NBCRNA)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS

Work Environment:

- Inpatient setting
- 10-bed department
- EMR: Cerner

- Neurosurgical Cases; Head & Spine
- Open Heart Anesthesia, Thoracic, Complex Vascular, & Complex Orthopedic Cases
- Pain Mgt Techniques, Postop Epidural, Postop Extremity Blocks
- Lumbar & Cervical Epidural Steroid
- Lumbar & Cervical Transforaminal
- Use of xray guidance in performance of blocks
- Vent Mgt, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- Central & Arterial Line Placement
- PA Catheter Placement
