Job Title: Registered Nurse - ED Observation Unit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Observation Unit team at Inova Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care tailored to the population served.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize available resources efficiently and document patient care in accordance with policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Commit to continuous learning and apply evidence-based practices.
- Actively contribute to the education and orientation of new staff and students.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
- 1+ years ED experience preferred.
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program desired.
- BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and PALS certifications required within specified timeframes.
