We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in Pleasant Ridge, Indiana. This is a full-time and permanent position that offers opportunities for growth and development.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results. They will also participate in quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director
  • Report results of all tests performed according to established procedures
  • Participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards
  • Perform specimen collection as necessary

**Requirements:**

  • College degree required
  • ASCP certification preferred
  • Prior laboratory experience and knowledge
