Keres Consulting, Inc. (Keres) is a Native American-owned small business actively seeking a qualified applicant for a Regular Full-Time, Non-Exempt position in financial management.

The Financial Management Specialist will manage the Keres Group of Companies' accounting department, overseeing schedules and risks, preparing financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), coordinating the annual budget process, and developing effective internal controls for accounting processes.

The position requires experience in a small business environment, with the ability to maintain confidentiality, multitask, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Deltek/Costpoint, QuickBooks software, and ADP Payroll is strongly preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Accounting is desirable but years of accounting experience are also considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting Department Management: Oversight and prioritization of tasks, schedule, resource allocation, and department and company risk.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Financial analysis, goal recommendations, including performance, corrective actions, and financial models.
  • Financial Transactions: Management of all aspects of the general ledger, including analysis, reconciliations, and posting of journal entries.

As a key member of the finance team, the Financial Management Specialist will work closely with leadership and accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, implement strategies and systems to manage risks, scale growth, and opportunities in short- and long-term goals.
