About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiologist Imaging Specialist to join our team at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the improvement of human life.

Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Perform radiological diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist.
  • Assist the physician in the diagnostic and interventional procedure.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
  • Assess patients for factors that may indicate or contraindicate a procedure, such as medications, insufficient patient preparation, or artifacts.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, schedule patients, oversee patient transportation, order supplies, and sustain a healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or 3 years of Radiology experience with OR or fluoroscopy.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
