**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Multifamily Maintenance Professional to join our team at CORE LEASES LLC.

This role involves servicing multiple apartment complexes in Dowagiac, MI, and South Bend, IN areas. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multifamily maintenance and be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing maintenance service requests as assigned with efficiency and timeliness.
  • Painting, laying floor coverings, and performing drywall repairs.
  • Efficiently completing make-ready processes for vacant apartments.
  • Performing general carpentry tasks.
  • Installing window blinds and building/replacing window screens.
  • Installing and repairing interior/exterior door locks.
  • General plumbing and electrical work.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools is required; must bring own tools.
  • Using smartphones to download and utilize property maintenance and payroll apps.
  • Assisting with grounds work, including trash removal, sweeping curbs, and maintaining landscaping beds.
  • Removing/appliances such as stoves and refrigerators using dollies on stairways.
  • This role requires lifting up to 60+ pounds.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior verifiable experience in multifamily maintenance is essential.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance are mandatory.
  • Pre-employment drug screening, physical, criminal background check, and skills demonstration are required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting salary based on experience: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.

Competitive pay and benefits package including health, dental, vision (1st $300 paid by employer), retirement plan, mileage reimbursement, PTO, paid vacation, and holidays.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with rotation for after-hours emergency calls, including weekend emergency calls.
