Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position with Advanced Cardiac Support

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the University of Utah Health Care. This role requires a strong background in nuclear medicine technology, with experience in operating advanced imaging equipment such as Siemens NM Intevo and Prospecta cameras, as well as the Siemens PET Biograph Vision camera.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the field, with a strong understanding of certification requirements, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). They will also be proficient in administering medication and performing medical procedures, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the University of Utah Health Care, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing results to inform diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens NM Intevo and Prospecta cameras, as well as the Siemens PET Biograph Vision camera
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
- Analyze imaging results to inform diagnosis and treatment
- Administer medication and perform medical procedures as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and exam results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in nuclear medicine technology
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- State license to practice as a nuclear medicine technologist
