We are seeking a highly professional Food Server to join our team in the Suites or Clubhouse locations at SoFi Center. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in serving etiquette, passionate about exceptional guest service, and committed to fostering a welcoming environment.
Salary Information
The hourly wage for this role ranges from $25 to $30 per hour. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.
Job Description
- Provide attentive, warm, and discreet service, anticipating guest needs and personalizing the dining experience.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of our menu and recommend pairings and answer guest inquiries confidently.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary preferences are noted and accommodated whenever possible.
- Serve food and beverages with precision, maintaining high table etiquette and presentation standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and communicate any guest feedback or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned tables, ensuring a well-presented dining area at all times.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, including dress code, grooming, and etiquette.
- Work as a team to support and cover coworkers during high-volume periods.
- Assist with Suite/Clubhouse setup, restocking, and side work to support team efficiency and service quality.
- Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere, embodying the values and culture of OVG Hospitality.
- Escalate concerns to OVG management staff for successful event outcomes or customer service situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A genuine and enthusiastic personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Strong communication skills using spoken and written words in a professional manner.
- Cultivate high-level member services and satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of progressive experience in high-end restaurant, hotel/resort, or private club food and beverage operations.
- Positive attitude, passionate, and highly motivated.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Decision-making skills in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
- Healthy stress management and accurate task completion.
- Capacity to learn new technologies as needed.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to perform required roles.
- Confidentiality, honesty, and integrity in daily work.
