Speech Therapist

Job Summary:

As a Speech Therapist with the Alabama Department of Education, you will play a vital role in helping students develop essential communication skills. This position requires a strong background in speech-language pathology and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine individual and class needs, establishing objectives and plans for learning experiences.
• Implement activities using various techniques to meet objectives, creating a functional learning atmosphere.
• Evaluate the educational program and/or student progress, communicating with parents, colleagues, and community groups.
• Maintain and submit records and reports, adhering to school system rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Teaching Certificate
