Job Summary

The Comprehensive Wellness Specialist will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and monitoring organization-wide wellness programs that target the physical, emotional, social, and financial components of total wellbeing to support a culture of health.

This role will maintain content on the Wellness intranet page and serve as the initial point of contact for Wellness inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement wellness programs that promote physical, emotional, social, and financial wellbeing
  • Maintain effective communication and promotion of wellness programs utilizing various media resources
  • Partner with internal marketing and communications teams to provide periodic wellness information/content
  • Recommend changes and modifications to wellness objectives and programs through analysis of health statistics, wellness assessments, program participation, and outcome measurements
  • Collaborate and assist with promoting initiatives developed and supported by the Chief Wellness Officer and their staff
  • Lead community outreach and seek out community partnerships to expand wellness program offerings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, or related field
  • Demonstrated skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Project management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and agency policies in the creation of wellness programs or incentives affecting HIPAA, EEOC, GINA, ADA, or other laws in the human resources area
