Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled RN Emergency Svcs FSED professional to join our team. This role will involve providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with healthcare teams, and promoting a safe and therapeutic atmosphere for patients and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Clinical Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrate accountability for essential clinical knowledge to positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating care.
Clinical Judgment and CompetencyShow strong and accurate clinical judgment and competent or expert nursing skills while following established policies, including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic, and digital).
Patient Education and SupportIncorporate time management and prioritize for efficiency and productivity. Follow LGMC process for dispensing medications and narcotic control, and employ clinical judgment related to medication administration.
Delegation and SupervisionDelegate only those tasks for which you believe the other health team member has the knowledge and skill to perform, taking into consideration training, cultural competence, experience, and facility/agency policies and procedures.
Safety and Quality AssuranceAdhere to hospital and unit policies, promote a culture of safety, and demonstrate quality systems thinking through gaining and maintaining knowledge of quality indicators, including nursing-sensitive indicators.
Professional Growth and DevelopmentQuestion and evaluate practice and evidence through research utilization and experiential learning, complete annual educational requirements, and other specified learning activities on time.
Education and CertificationsRequired certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC. Preferred certifications include ENPC, specialty certification from a national accrediting organization, and membership in a national professional nursing organization.
