Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Care Assistant to join our team at Assisting Hands of West Orange. As a Home Health Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the Staffing Coordinator
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in home or long-term care setting
  • Valid Driver's License
  • HHA certificate
  • CPR Card
  • Physical Exam
  • TB Results
  • Alzheimers Certificate
  • Domestic Violence Certificate
  • HIV/AIDS Certificate
  • OSHA Certificate
  • Medical Errors or Assistance with Medications Certificate
  • Dependent Adult Abuse (Elder Abuse) Certificate
