Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your experience and product knowledge to select and assist in the development of the best products to grow the product line and meet customers' needs.
  • Product ownership throughout the product life cycle, including evaluation and testing of new products and technologies.
  • Support product through new product introductions, documentation, training, and second-tier backline support.
  • Life-cycle projects to improve product quality or lower product cost.
  • Supplier evaluation, including product offering, technology roadmap, and support capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Requires education in a technical discipline, with a preference for a BS in mechatronics, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or at least 10 years of related experience.
  • Requires 6 years' experience (10 years preferred) in the industrial control and automation market or OEM/manufacturing using robots.
  • Experience with various robotic technologies, including end effectors, vision systems, scara robots, cobots, delta robots, or cartesian robots, is desirable.
  • Experience with industrial control products, such as PLCs, HMIs, process instrumentation, or signaling, is desirable.
  • Experience with agency approvals, such as UL, CSA, CE, RoHS, etc., is desirable.
  • Experience with CAD, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc., is desirable.
  • Must possess self-confidence, organizational skills, time management skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Must also be a self-starter who can work on and manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
