Automotive Support Specialist

As a Customer Service Agent at SIXT USA, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert assistance and guidance on various automotive issues.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls, emails, and chat messages from customers regarding car-related inquiries and issues
- Diagnose common car problems based on customer descriptions and provide initial troubleshooting advice
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with our network of automotive technicians
- Explain complex automotive concepts in simple, easy-to-understand terms
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up on unresolved issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and common car problems
- Assist customers with warranty-related questions and claims
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer support
- Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Basic automotive knowledge and genuine interest in cars
- Proficiency in customer service software and computer applications
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service or the automotive industry preferred
- Automotive certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with various car models and common automotive issues
- Empathetic and patient demeanor with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
