Job Overview

Asset Living is a leading third-party management firm dedicated to fostering thriving communities nationwide. As a Regional Manager, you will oversee the entire operations of a housing community portfolio, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, safety guidelines, and liability concerns.

This role requires a strong leader who can manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. You will supervise all aspects of the property and staff, ensuring effective communication, quality job performance, and harmony among team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesPersonnel Management
  • Develop and implement effective techniques for screening, hiring, training, coaching, and developing on-site staff.
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures, safety guidelines, and liability concerns.
  • Deal effectively with performance problems, document issues, and communicate with direct supervisors and HR.
  • Prepare and approve salary increases for Community Managers and other team members as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of staff hours, vacation, and sick time.
Financial Management
  • Achieve the highest possible net operating income through effective cost control and revenue improvement strategies.
  • Develop and manage yearly operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on income and expense line items, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide capital improvement suggestions for the future of the site.
  • Ensure timely receipt and reconciliation of deposits, rent collections, and charges.
Strategic Leasing Management
  • Develop and implement a yearly marketing plan, utilizing effective marketing strategies and systems.
  • Provide marketing strategies to generate rentals or rent increases.
  • Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective in obtaining closure, follow-up procedures, and accurate reporting.
  • Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
Administrative & Maintenance Management
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of administrative and leasing activities.
  • Assist with emergency response and handling of property emergencies within company guidelines.
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness of maintenance staff.
  • Maintain property appearance and ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
