Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff, providing regular performance feedback and coaching
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to secure services and repairs as needed
• Prepare apartments for new residents, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve resident concerns and address any issues that may arise
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with 2-5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a multi-family housing environment. You should have a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and basic carpentry. Additionally, you must be proficient in computer skills, including email and Ops Technology. A $65,000 - $80,000 per year salary is offered based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Working Conditions
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as well as travel between properties as needed. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, bend, reach, and push/pull objects safely.
