At Sciens Building Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. This critical role requires attention to detail, effective human relations, and strong communication skills.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in fire sprinkler systems to inspect and maintain our clients' facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of NFPA codes and regulations, as well as experience working with installation teams.

Responsibilities:
  • System Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet code-compliant standards
  • Field Surveys: Produce detailed field surveys and daily project activity logs to track progress and identify potential issues
  • Inspection Reports: Generate detailed inspection reports in accordance with NFPA requirements
  • Project Management: Deliver projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an inspector technician role within the fire sprinkler industry
  • Licenses & Certifications: Massachusetts Sprinkler Apprentice License required; NICET level II certification preferred
  • Knowledge: Proficient in NFPA 13, 20, 24 & 72 code requirements; working knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action systems
