The Emory Orthopaedics Department at Grady is recruiting a full-time, traumatologist to join the busy service at a Level I Trauma Center.

The incumbent will participate in the care of our trauma and critical care patients and demonstrate a commitment to the education of fellows and residents.

Applicants must have completed an accredited residency training program, Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialty fellowship training in Trauma.

Candidates should be committed to an academic surgical practice, research, and resident teaching.

Faculty appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Expected to demonstrate a commitment to the education of fellows and residents.

Your performance will be assessed based on a variety of factors, to include:

Work RVU production, meeting Quality metric benchmarks (which are set annually), and fulfillment of Departmental Citizenship expectations (such as the timely completion of charts and surgical dictations, and attendance at faculty meetings/grand rounds/etc).
