The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Care Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment providing exceptional patient care to children and adolescents aged 3-18.

About the Position

This role is a full-time opportunity working on a rotating shift schedule with up to 20% of day positions requiring rotation. The successful candidate will be based at the Epstein 2 Pediatric Psychiatry unit within our organization, caring for patients with complex psychiatric needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality patient care and support to children and adolescents on the pediatric psychiatry unit
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Assist with admission, assessment, treatment planning, and discharge processes as needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Key skills and qualifications include:

- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatry principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records in EPIC, our electronic medical record system

Additional Information

Floating is required to other behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU, with certification requirements including Bachelors' degree preferred and BLS preferred.
